Life Safety's new Door EISS Egress Identifying Safety Signal is an excellent exit target device For enhancing interior fire ground Operations or emergency exit situations.
The door EISS uses Luxeon Superbright series LED technology. This highly visible LED is the same series LED utilized in the Whelen Engineering product line.
The door EISS By design maximizes light Distribution by illuminating directly at the application intended . The Door EISS has 3 modes of operation (flashing, Flashing with an audible alert and steady burn flashlight). Door EISS brings superior performance and reliability to personal safety and all interior fire ground operations. Door EISS will dramatically reduce the time in which firefighters conduct search and rescue tasks and also improves basic fire supression functions. The EISS marks entry and exit routes of movment in low visibility smoke filled environments by utilizing super bright flashing light and audible tone. The Door EISS can mark entry and exits points, stair landing's, hallways and doors to search fire areas creating a virtual illuminated route of travel. The Door EISS will enhance RIT/FAst team operations. The Door EISS can be used to mark the tops of extension ladders or even as a personal safety device on roadway incidents using the 1/4" 20 accessory thread on the bottom of the unit.
